With the ‘’Father For All’ attitude of His Excellency President J.E.A. Mills deeply rooted in his team, the Ledzokuku-Krowor Municipal Chief Executive, Mr Daniel Amartey Mensah on the 20th of January 2011 made a familiarization and collaborative visit to all the five private hospitals in the municipality.
His was ably supported by the Municipal Director of Health, Dr Leticia Adelaide A Wiafe with her team of experts.
This was to enable him assess first hand, the quality or otherwise of these health facilities so as to put in his efforts to further propel the ‘Better Ghana’ agenda of the NDC and also to really kick-start the President’s ‘Year of Action’ with a revitalised strength and positivity.
The private hospitals include Family health, Manna Mission, Lister, Inkoom and Christian medical centre, all of which are under the jurisdiction of LEKMA.
On the visit, inadequate and inconsistent
flow of water was realised as the major challenge confronted by the hospitals but the MCE assured them that his outfit would work hand-in-hand with the water companies to ease their plight.
Touching and encouraging the hospitals and people on water storage, the MCE, Mr Daniel Amartey Mensah revealed that the assembly has a discount of 10 to 15% for all whose building plans have water storage provisions as this would enhance their operations and ease the water problem on the municipality.
