It Gives Me Great Pleasure Once Again To Welcome You All To This August Gathering To Mark The 54th Independence Anniversary Of Our Beloved Nation, Ghana.
I Wish To Profoundly Thank Our Distinguished Guests For Accepting Our Invityation To Join Us In This Celebration. Welcome to All of You. Your Presence Is Indeed Very Much Appreciated.
Distinguished Guests, Ladies and Gentle Men, the Significance of This Historic Day Dawns on us in Various Ways to and From Several Perspectives. Key among These Is the Opportunity It affords Us to Objectively And Critically Assess Our Achievements. Distinguished Ladies And gentle men, within The few years of Existence as a Municipality, These has been significant Improvement In The Performance Of Our Pupils In The Basic Education Certificate Examination (Bece). We Are Confident In Achieving Much More In The Upcoming One.
In The Area Of Sports, Presbyterian Senior High School, Teshie Emerged The Overall Winners In The Last Zonal Sports Festival For Senior High Schools. At The Basic Level, Ledzokuku-Krowo Municipality Continues To Chock Successes In All Despline S Of
In The Course Of The Year The Municipality Will Host The Regional Cultural Festival For Whivh We Are Confident In Emerging The Overall Winners (Host And Win The Trophy)
Another Area Worthy Of Commendation Is The Assembly’s Sponsership For Brilliant But Needy Pupils. A Number Of Students Are Being Sponsered By The Assembly At Second Cycle Level Of Education.
By And Large, The Vision For This Country Is A” Better Ghana” In Which All Ghanaian Can Feel Proud. It Is In The Light Of This Agenda That I See The Theme; Displine And Hardwork: A Pre-Requisite For A “Better Ghana Very Much Appropriate”.
To Achieve The” Better Ghana” Agenda, Ladies And Gentle Men, All Of Us Gathered Here Must Serve Mother Ghana With All Our Minds, All Our Heart And All Our Might. Additionally, We Must Be Displined As Children, Teachers, Parents And Workers Whose Individual Contribution Would Collectively Build This Great Nation Of Ours.
In The Process Of Building A Better Ghana, Much Of Our Effort Has Been Spent On Laying A Solid Foundation, Which Is Manifested In The Massive Expansion In Educatioal Infrastructure At Both Basic And Second Cycle Levels. Distribution Of Free School Uniforms And Exercise Books, Increment In The Capitation Grant For Pupils, Provision Fo Furniture For Schools By The Municipal Assembly And Other Donor Agencies.
Municipal Chief Executive, Membrs Of Parliament And Distinguished Guests To Achieve The Better Ghana Agenda, We As A People Must Uphold The Attitudes Of Discipline And Hardwork. It Si My Hope That We Will All Put Our Shoulders To The Wheels In Achieving A Better Ghana For All.
