THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OF LEDZOKUKU-KROWOR MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY URGED DANBORT FC
Municipal Chief Executive of the Ledzokuku- Krowor Municipal Assembly (LEKMA),Mr.Daniel Amartey Mensah, has assured Dabbort FC of a gorgeous package if the qualify for the division on league.
He made the promise during the club’s training session in Tema yesterday.
Known as the Nungua Warriors,the club are currently two point off the pack in the Greater Accra Division Two Middle League with two games left in the five-match promotional campaign.
Danbort are yet to concede a goal and the LEKMA boss believes the league leaers must be rewarded handsomely if they make it to the second tier of Ghana football.
“We supported them during the recent FA Cup and we plane to give them something bigger this time around” he guaranteed.
He, however, declined to start what he had store for them, but was pretty sure it was going to be something mouth-watering.
“Though I’m in charge, I don’t take decisions alone; so am I’m going to meet with members of the assembly and decide on a befitting reward for Danbort-obviously if they make the mark”
The LEKMA Chief Executive urged the players to dash for the jugular in their last two games against Pokuase United Vision FC on Friday and Sunday respectively.
Danbort opened their account in the two-week contest with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Y.F
Juventus and proceeded to drub Fairpoint 2-0 before being held to a dazzling 0-0 affair by a stubborn FCM Maamobi contingent.
Hon.Amartey Mensah hinted the Times Sport of the Assembly’s plans to provide an inner perimeter for the Nungua Twon Park which serves
as the training ground for the club.
January, this year, gave a sum of GH¢2,500 to Danbort during the recently – staged FA Cup competition.
